The Graduate Program in Soil Science of the Federal University of Ceará was established in 1976 offering graduate degree at Master of Science level. The Doctor of Science level program began in 2011 and aims to provide the students a fully and profound scientific knowledge formation, expanding the research capacity and creativeness.
The main goals of the Soil Science Program are to offer, develop and improve the graduate education, seeking the formation of human resources in the area of soil science and stimulate, promote and conduct scientific research that contribute to the solution of problems related to soil science.
